Although I tinkered with paint as a child, I never proceeded to develop any of my natural talents, till later in life. My father was a wood turner. Endless hours I would watch him take parts of felled trees and turn them into a master pieces. My mother decorated the outside of our home with endless seasonal celebrations. Images projected upon plywoods cut and painted. Flood lights lite up our yard for all to enjoy.
I moved to Miami from Ohio in the 70's and waitress for Mike Gordon's Seafood Restaurant for many years. Later I worked for a sign company and learned sign designing, drafting and installation. Then a trophy company framing documents in black crystal and custom work mounting "speciality" items. Later at Barton G.'s painting huge murals, flora and fauna, faux finishes, furniture, decorative art, photo opps, dance floors, stage back drops and even famous reproductions.
