Wood skin was placed over the paneled doors to provide a flat surface for my Carribean Carved wooden door look. Egg shell paint mixed with glaze was painted on in 6" widths. Then I used a triangular graining comb to remove paint thus creating a craved pattern as well. Once the entire door was grained and dried I thinned a warm brown paint and washed the door with color and varnished.
